Steven Adams is an experienced trial attorney who knows firsthand that divorce is an emotional process as well as a legal one.
You’d be hard-pressed to find a lawyer with more experience trying and negotiating cases in Southwest Ohio. He’s practiced law in Hamilton County and the surrounding area for over 25 years. For each of the past six years, he has been named an Ohio Super Lawyer after being nominated and reviewed by other local lawyers.
Outside the courtroom, Steve has proven himself to be dedicated, disciplined and competitive. He competed in four Ironman Triathlon World Championships and for three years was the top lawyer competitor in the world. He has also been active in the community, serving on local charities and managing local political campaigns.
Steve has also been divorced himself, so he knows how emotionally it is. He understands that sometimes it makes sense to fight, and sometimes fighting becomes destructive and it’s best to settle so everyone can move forward with their lives.
As a family lawyer, Steve‘s goal is to protect his clients’ interests, encourage them to heal emotionally, and be a strong advocate during negotiations or at trial. Ultimately, he wants his clients to come through the process feeling safe, secure and ready to start their next chapter of life.
After serving as an assistant Hamilton County prosecutor, Steve opened his private law practice in 2001. Since then he has been an effective advocate for his clients and has gained extensive trial experience and tremendous insights into the workings of the Southwest Ohio court system and human behavior in general.
Steve is a graduate of the Salmon P. Chase College of Law and the University of Kentucky, where he was a competitive swimmer. He has represented clients in Hamilton, Warren, Butler, Clermont, Brown, Montgomery, and Greene counties in Ohio.
He lives in Cincinnati with his wife and two children.
